Heavy rains and flooding in Jordan have left at least 12 people dead. That's according to state media, which reported more people were still missing Saturday.
The floods hit the ancient city of Petra, a popular tourist destination, leading to the evacuation of hundreds of visitors.
The country has seen several weeks of heavy rains, which were forecasted to continue Saturday.
Flooding in late October caused the deaths of more than 20 people, including a group of teachers and students near the dead sea.
